Remember that no matter how big or small your budget is, you should not be held accountable for something you have no control over. If you are not feeling comfortable with your “budget control,” it might be time to have that tough conversation. Have a frank discussion with your managing partner or controller over how you can gain control…or at least more control over your department’s budget.

In reviewing this poll, it was also very interesting where everyone was looking for future spend. Some of the answers we received were to increase spending to gain more in-depth client feedback. Other truly ambitious folks said they had two top priorities of website and CRM. Make sure if you have two big rocks to carry next year, you really plan and smartly use those vacation days to recharge. We want to make sure you get to 2020 with your sanity intact.

This month, we ask that you please take a minute for the minute and answer this month’s poll questions on succession planning.
