The Association for Accounting Marketing (the “Association") is the only trade association of its kind that provides resources and support to CPAs and consulting firm marketing and sales professionals, partners, Association administrators, and representatives of businesses who offer products and services to the accounting industry.

Members reside throughout the world, primarily in the United States and Canada.

The Association publishes this Privacy Policy to reaffirm its commitment to maintaining the privacy of its members and potential members in the electronic environment and to inform you of the Association's practices regarding the collection and use of information you may provide the Association while using this web site.

Visitors to the Association's web site are not required to reveal any individually identifiable information, such as name, address or telephone number, nor is such information collected passively by electronic means. Use of the Association's web site does not create an association/prospective member relationship with the Association or any of its strategic alliances. The Association uses web servers to collect other information, such as the type and version number of a visitor's browser software and the Internet domain name of the location the visitor enters from. This information is used to help the Association respond to technical problems involving this site and track the areas of greatest interest to visitors. This information is collected so that the Association can better serve its members and other visitors interested in the Association's services.

Some pages within the Association's site ask visitors to provide individually identifiable information such as a name, address, telephone number or e-mail address. Usually this information is requested so that the Association's administrative staff can respond to inquiries from visitors to the web site. Visitors know when this information is collected because they are asked to complete a form and submit it to the Association.

The Association collects this voluntarily provided information either to deliver services to those requesting them, to provide member support or to administer accounts with the Association. The Association occasionally compiles information obtained through the Association's web site to inform members and potential members about recent marketing developments, new services offered by the Association and/or events involving the Association that may be of interest.

The Association takes technical, administrative and physical steps to protect against the unauthorized access to, and disclosure of, individually identifiable information used to serve its members. The Association's web site is maintained on separate computer servers from the Association's primary network computers where confidential member information is stored. All information is handled securely within the Association and is not disclosed to unauthorized third parties.

As communication technology continues to evolve, the Association will from time to time review and revise it data protection practices. Changes will be incorporated into this Internet Privacy Policy where appropriate.

The Association's web site provides link to other external web sites. The privacy policy described here does not apply to any external web sites. Once you access another web site through a link we provide, we recommend that you read the individual policy statements of each web site.

The maintenance and security of any and all Username and Passwords issued for access to this web site shall be the sole responsibility of the individual or entity accessing the web site. Such individual or entity shall be responsible for access to and use of its Username and Password by its employees, agents or others, whether or not such access and/or use were authorized. In no event shall the Association be liable for the use or misuse of any Username and Password.

To reduce the likelihood of damage from computer viruses, the Association uses virus protection software on its computer systems and regularly updates the software. Although unlikely, it is possible that data you request for download from our web site may contract a virus and become corrupted before it reaches your computer. The Association is not responsible for files that may become corrupted as the data travels through the Internet.
