Portland Museum of Art

What better way to start the 2018 Summit than a night of networking with your AAM friends old and new. This year – we are combining the AAM-MAAs with the opening networking event.

Founded in 1892, the Portland Art Museum is one of the oldest art museums in the United States and the oldest in the Pacific Northwest. The Museum’s collection of 42,000 objects reflects the history of art from ancient times to today. The collection is distinguished for its holdings of arts of the native peoples of North America; modern and contemporary art; Asian and American art; photographs, prints, and drawings; and English silver.

The Portland Art Museum is a short walk from the Hilton.

Thursday, May 17
Corporate Social Responsibility Activity and Wrap Party- 1:00-5:00p.m.

End your Summit experience with helping those who are less fortunate. AAM will be partnering with Portland Homeless Family Solutions (PAFS). PFHS empowers homeless families with children to get back into housing and to stay there long-term. They envision a community where no family experiences homelessness and where every family received the support and compassion necessary to thrive. PHFS helps over 185 homeless families with children find temporary shelter and move back into permanent housing every year. It takes an average of 54 days to help families find permanent housing, and 94% of the families keep their housing long-term. Participants will assemble activity bags and write notes of encouragement for pre-school children. The $30 participation fee will be used to purchase supplies needed for the bags.

Can't participate or want to contribute more?  You can also purchase supplies directly from our Amazon Wishlist.
