| Behind
the Scenes at the AAM Marketing Summit
For our association and its volunteers, there's
no bigger undertaking each year than the AAM Marketing Summit.
A large number of volunteers, all working in tandem, begin their
work the minute the prior year's conference is concluded. Our
gratitude is extended to each of the numerous committee members,
past and present, who give their all to produce memorable and
inspiring conferences for the accounting profession's marketers
and sales people.
Make new friends, expand your professional portfolio
and resume, and -- literally -- get with the program! Sign up
now. Become one of the people who helps shape the future of the
profession. It's a great career move.
Conference Advisory Team
The Conference Advisory Team, led by AAM Headquarters
and the conference Chair or Co-Chairs, consists of the Chairs
of the various conference teams, as well as advisors who are either
seasoned veterans or up-and-comers who are new to the industry.
The Conference Advisory Team makes sure all the pieces of the
conference come together in the end and it provides a forum for
the various teams to communicate with one another.
AAM-MAA Subcommittee
This small but mighty crew does a fantastic job
in getting the AAM-MAA award entries together. No easy task with
structures to define, a prospectus to create, numerous award entries
to receive, judges to secure and coordinate, trophies to order
and a full evening's event to plan. What a great feeling when
it all comes together at the elegant AAM-MAA Awards Gala. If you
like planning events and have a dedication to the demand for excellence
in accounting marketing...you're going to like being on the AAM-MAA
Team! Join
this great crew for next year.

Host City Subcommittee
This is an exciting committee to participate
on if you live in or near the conference host city. Members of
this committee try to bring the flavor of their city to conference
goers. Members plan social/networking activities that conference
attendees can participate in, put together goodie bags filled
with treats that reflect the culture of the host city, and overall
are a great resource for information about the host city. This
committee is "rocking" in September/October and again
in April/May. Join
this great crew for next year.

Conference Marketing/PR Subcommittee
Our conference, which is AAM's largest and most
visible initiative each year, must be packaged and marketed as
the valuable product it is. The Conference Marketing subcommittee
works closely with the conference advisory team to develop a marketing
plan aimed at boosting awareness and attendance. This team's duties
are moderate and fairly sporadic between September and May. It's
a unique opportunity for AAM marketers to flex their creative
muscle and try out ideas that may be too "outside of the
box" to implement for their own firm.
Join
this great crew for next year.
